2024 Meeting Times:
The Pediatrics SIG meets the first Monday of the month at 12:00 Noon ET // 11:00 AM CT // 10:00 AM MT // 9:00 AM PT.
Welcome to the CFHA Pediatric Special Interest Group! We meet the first Monday of each month at noon Eastern Time to discuss a timely topic, network, share resources, and support each other.
The Peds SIG embraces diversity and promotes inclusivity and equity in its leadership, membership, and meetings. We strive to create a welcoming space that is highly inclusive and participative in nature, facilitating discussions that are respectful of differences, hosting presentations that are infused with equity principles, and aligning research with everyday practice. Historically, many of our meeting and ELO topics focus explicitly on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), which aligns with CFHA’s vision of promoting inclusive and equitable care.
We are very intentional about the structure of the meetings and the topics for discussion and think of the Peds SIG as a dissemination outlet for research/evaluation and DEI topics as they relate to pediatric integrated care. Our SIG meetings include a “Research Corner” in which a research article related to the topic of the month is summarized and a “This is How We Do It” segment in which evidence-based practices on that topic are shared followed by a facilitated discussion. This aligns with CFHA’s mission to promote education and interest in research and program evaluation.
Call for Pediatric Mentors! The Pediatrics SIG is recruiting individuals interested in serving as mentors for those working within pediatric integrated care. We are looking for mentors at all levels of experience and specialties, including research, leadership/ administration, direct practice, and all others.
