The CFHA School-Based Integrated Care Workgroup, led by Lindsey Overstreet and Ben Hillyard, brings together professionals dedicated to bridging the gap between schools, primary care, and behavioral health. This group explores innovative models, such as the Collaborative Care Model (CoCM), PCBH, Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), and school-based health clinics, to enhance mental health services within school settings. Through shared learning, policy, advocacy, and implementation strategies, the workgroup aims to break down silos and improve access to high-quality, coordinated care for children and adolescents, with a particular focus on the following goals:
In April, join us to hear from John Crocker about the school’s perspective in partnership with IBH. John Crocker is the director of BH at a large MA school district. He is also the founder and director of the MA School Based MH consortium. The consortium has 175 districts across MA in their membership.
This group meets quarterly on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 11am ET // 10am CT // 9am MT // 8am PT.
