The African Americans in Integrated Care Workgroup is designed for behavioral health clinicians, prescribing providers, administrators, and healthcare leaders who identify as Black or African American and have an interest in Integrated Care. Each meeting session will have a topic and direction. There will also be delegated time to network and welcome open discussion. Some of the group’s initiatives are:

-Peer Support for AA in Integrated Care settings/Retention of AA in Integrated Care

-Workforce Development for College and High School Students

-Addressing History of Oppression in medical and mental health care

The AA in IC workgroup meets bi-monthly at 12:30pm ET // 11:30am CT // 10:30am MT // 9:30am PT.
