Measurement Based Care Workgroup

Measurement-Based Care Workgroup Charter:

Support the demonstration of impact of integrated BH programs on medical and financial measures (e.g. ED utilization, inpatient readmissions, and physical health indicators with high mental health co-morbidities) in addition to improved BH outcomes
Understand what work is currently being done by CFHA members in integrated care to determine value and outcomes
Identify common barriers and possible solutions to implementation of measurement-based care
Identify preferred integrated BH measures that would fit well within an MBC approach to integrated care (e.g. brief or feasible measures that can be administered routinely and frequently for a real time, collaborative, feedback discussion by provider and patient to make any necessary changes in treatment)
Identify ways, or what research would be beneficial, to demonstrate how MBC, an evidence-based practice to improve care, can support or validate value-based care so that payers can routinely reimburse for such practices
Support and promote the education and use of outcomes measurement across the CFHA community
