What is included in the Conference registration? 

Full Conference registration includes admission to the following functions:

  • Plenary sessions on Thursday , Friday and Saturday
  • All concurrent education sessions on Friday and Saturday
  • Access to CFHA Lounge with exhibits, posters, etc.
  • Welcome Reception on Thursday evening;
  • Lunch and refreshment breaks on Friday and Saturday;
Please note:
  • Discounted pricing is available for CFHA Professional Members and Student Members. You must log-in to the website before registering online to apply the Member price.
  • Pre-Conference activities on Thursday are NOT included with Full Conference registration. Additional registration and fees will apply for Thursday workshops.
  • Breakfast and dinner is NOT provided during the Conference.


One-Day Registration 

One-day registration is available for Friday, October 11 and Saturday, October 12, includes admission to functions on the specified day only:

  • Daily plenary session on Friday or Saturday
  • Daily concurrent education sessions on Friday or Saturday
  • Access to CFHA Lounge with exhibits, posters, etc.
  • Lunch and refreshment breaks on Friday or Saturday

Registration on Thursday, October 10, is for Pre-Conference activities only.

  • Registration for full-day or half-day workshops are available.
  • Pre-Conference workshops are NOT included within the Full Conference registration fee.
  • Lunch is NOT provided for Pre-Conference Workshop attendees.

I'm presenting a session at the CFHA Conference. Do I need to register? 

Yes, all CFHA Conference presenters must register to attend the CFHA Conference. No presenter discounts or fee waivers are available.

You can register for the Full Conference or select a one-day registration option for the day of your presentation. Please register before September 13th for early bird discounts.


How do I register for the CFHA Conference?

Online registration will open in June 2013 at Click on the links to the online registration form and follow the prompts to select your registration options. 

If you're a CFHA member or have attended a previous CFHA Conference, please log-in first using your user ID or email address. Your CFHA membership must be current to register at the specially priced Member registration fee.

If you are not a member, click on the appropriate links for Non-Member Conference registration.

If you are registering 5 or more individuals from the same institution at the same time, you may register as a group. No discounts will apply for groups, however, you can streamline the data entry process and pay for all registrations in a single transaction.

A registration confirmation will be sent via email prior to the CFHA Conference.

How much are Conference registration fees? 

You can register for the Full Conference (Thursday evening through Saturday), or select  a one-day option for Friday or Saturday.

Registration for Thursday, October 10, is for Pre-Conference Workshops only. 

  • Full-day workshop $199
  • Half-day workshop $129

Please note:

  • Early Bird prices apply for registrations received online, faxed or postmarked no later than Friday, September 13.
  • Advance registration prices will apply beginning September 14.
  • Advance Registration will close at 5 PM Mountain time on Friday, October 4.
  • On-Site: After October 4, you will be required to register Onsite and may be subject to limited options.



Full payment is required prior to the Conference. Payment will be accepted by major credit card (preferred) or check payable to "CFHA Conference".

Institutional purchase orders will also be accepted and PO number must be referenced with registration. All payments must be received by CFHA no later than October 1, 2013.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Substitutions are encouraged in lieu of cancellation. Please contact CFHA's Conference Manager to report a substitution.

All cancellations and refund requests must be reported in writing by mail or fax:

Refund requests received on or before Friday, September 27, will receive full refund less $30 processing fee.

There are no refunds for cancellations after Friday, September 27.

Special Needs

If you require special physical arrangements to attend this activity, please specify your assistance needs on the registration form when you register for this Conference.


Registration Scholarships

CFHA will be offering Student Members and new professionals the opportunity to register for the 2013 Conference at low or no cost registration fee.

A limited number of scholarships will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to applicants who meet the required criteria. Please note that scholarship is for registration fees only; it does not include travel or accommodations.

The online scholarship application form will be available in June 2013.

Scholarship Contributions

Members are encouraged to contribute funds toward registration scholarships for Students to attend the CFHA Conference. A $100 contribution is suggested; any amount is appreciated.

Scholarship contribution can be added to your Conference registration.

Resource Materials

In lieu of printed handouts, CFHA Conference registrants may access resource materials on the CFHA web site.

When you register for the CFHA Conference, you will be required to create a web site log-in. You will need to use this log-in to access Conference resources on the CFHA web site.

Non-member registrants will be given online access to 2013 Conference Resources for a limited period of time. CFHA members may access these resources by retaining membership.
