CFHA Speaker & Consultant Bureau

CFHA is embarking on a new initiative to build technical assistance into CFHA’s portfolio of services. This strategy aims to advance our mission by leveraging our collective expertise to benefit the field. Based on the accelerating pace of adoption of integrated, collaborative care, we see clear indication of a growing demand for consultation by regions, health systems and provider organizations related to smart implementation of their integrated care initiatives. Therefore, at its 2016 summer retreat, the Board of Directors approved the development of a consulting arm of CFHA. Over the last several months, CFHA has been thoughtfully and methodically working to fulfill that charge.

A critical step in this initiative’s development is to devise an objective process for identification and engagement of high quality consultants drawn from leading experts to be found among our own membership. We addressed this challenge by creating an application that any interested member can view and complete. All applicants who meet the criteria will be included in a searchable database so that, based on areas of expertise and availability, clients who request training, consultation and/or technical assistance services can be offered a choice of CFHA recommended consultants that match the expertise they are seeking.

If you are interested in working with CFHA in a non-exclusive capacity as a contract consultant, please follow the link to the application, which describes the desired qualifications, requirements, and financial relationship. We encourage applications to be submitted by February 28, 2017. Once an initial pool of consultants who meet our criteria has been established, we will re-open the call for application on an annual or as needed basis in order to maximize inclusion as our membership expands and expertise continues to evolve.

Please be aware that CFHA is at an early stage of building this capacity. While we are committed to the development of a consulting arm of CFHA, we may modify our application and implementation process as we gain experience. We will be integrating a structured evaluation component into this work to support process improvement and metrics to demonstrate impact. Your feedback regarding the application process is welcome.

The application for speakers and consultants is now CLOSED.

Please stay tuned for a detailed list of our available consultants.
