SUMMARY:REC Webinar: Hot off the Presses Take 2: An Anxiety Intervention Trial
DESCRIPTION:Did you enjoy the Hot off the Presses live presentation at the 2025 CHFA Conference? Were you unable to attend the 2025 CFHA conference? Please join CFHA’s Research and Evaluation Committee and Dr. Robyn Shepardson for Hot off the Press Take 2 to continue the discussion and get an update on An Anxiety Intervention Trial. \nDr. Shepardson will share about her randomized controlled trial of a modular\, transdiagnostic\, cognitive-behavioral brief intervention for patients with anxiety in primary care as part of the webinar “Hot Off the Presses Take 2: An Anxiety Intervention Trial” led by Dr. Robyn Shepardson. \nHot off the Presses is offered by REC as a way for busy professionals like yourself to get up to date info on recent research and program evaluation studies that have been published or are underway. \nJoin us Tuesday\, March 24th at 1pm ET // 12pm CT // 11am MT // 10am PT. \n  \nThe Research and Evaluation Committee (REC) was created by the Board of Directors to grow interest and enthusiasm among CFHA members regarding research and to create opportunities for members to actively participate in research and program evaluation related to collaborative\, integrated care. The REC leadership council\, which consists of co-chairs and voting members\, meets monthly to help facilitate the activities of the REC\, such as our REC track at the conference\, new endeavors such as our interest in measure repositories\, etc. The REC open general meetings typically occur at least 6-8 times per year and vary in format from more discussion-like forums as well as webinars.

SUMMARY:Certificate Program in Primary Care Behavioral Health Leadership
DESCRIPTION:The rapid development of behavioral health integration around the nation in health systems with multiple primary care sites has led to the emergence of a new role: “director\,” or “supervisor\,” or “lead” of behavioral health integration (BHI). A number of people in this role feel unprepared for the demands that it imposes. They have risen to leadership positions on their clinical skills\, but they have little training or experience in management and leadership in an organization.  The new leaders find themselves needing to address issues such as hiring and onboarding\, staff evaluations\, design of program and patient metrics\, data reporting and quality improvement\, and helping health system authorities understand how much behavioral health services can add to the effectiveness and efficiency of the healthcare services of the organization as a whole. \nThis course\, led by Dr. Alexander (Sandy) Blount\, a long-time leader in the field\, is a unique opportunity to receive mentorship\, peer support and skill development for the clinician-leader. \nThe course will meet weekly from February 10\, 2025 – June 30\, 2025 (21 meetings) via Zoom. 31.5 CEUS for psychologists or social workers.
