The Collaborative Family Healthcare Association (CFHA) launched CBC in September 2009 to provide an enjoyable and interactive meeting place for collaborative care stakeholders. We aim to be a communication hub, idea generator, and networking center for this movement.
The blog is accessible to anyone. If you would like to post a comment you will need to create a free webpage log-in account. All that is required is your name and an email address. To create an account, clink on the "Login" link at the top of any cfha.net page, and then click on "Click here to create a website account". If you prefer to not create a personal account, you can use Username "visitor" and Password "visitor" to login.
CBC blog-posters are independent authors sharing their own ideas. Neither their works nor the comment threads that follow are endorsed by CFHA. As with any literary enterprise, CBC contributors should acknowledge sources that contributed to their writings.
For people who attend CFHA’s conferences, consider CBC’s blog postings like the informed and invigorating conference workshops. The chat thread that follows the postings is similar to the conversations that linger on in the hotel lobbies and restaurants after each session. In this regard, we value candid dialogue that reflects mutual respect and acceptance of a plurality of opinion.
Just as there are norms and structure at the conference that discourage personal attacks and overly-charged comments, at CBC we will self-police. Comments that are deemed destructive will be removed and blog followers who repeatedly engage in inappropriate discourse will be blocked. We anticipate that this will be a rare occurrence.
If you would like to make a comment to CBC Administration or to contribute some of your own writing for online publication, please contact the blog’s Senior Editor, Dr. Randall Reitz at reitz.randall@gmail.com.
We invite you to chat in our lobby and dine at our table often.
Warm regards,
CBC Administration
