Portland’s excellent air service results in very competitive rates and official carrier designation for larger convention groups. PDX is an easy 20-minute drive from the Oregon Convention Center/Memorial Coliseum site and downtown.
The four lines of Portland's MAX Light Rail System connect Portland International Airport (PDX) to downtown hotels, Convention Center, Rose Garden arena, Lloyd Center shopping mall and Washington Park.
Currently, the MAX light rail system does not deliver to the South Waterfront area; the closest stop is one half-mile from the Portland Marriott Downtown Waterfront.

Blue Star Transportation is Portland's largest locally owned and operated airport shuttles and charter buses. The company has been serving Portland's transportation needs since 1977 and the entire motor coach fleet runs on biodiesel.
The Downtown Express Portland Airport Shuttle service offers regularly scheduled stops from 4:10 AM to 7:00 PM at major Downtown Portland Hotels and until 12:30 AM from the Portland International Airport (PDX).
Fares between PDX and Portland Marriott Downtown Waterfront are $14 per person, one-way, and $24 per person, roundtrip.

- Step outside baggage claim.
- Take the walkway to the left.
- Go to Island #2.
- Go to the Scheduled Buses and Vans pick-up area.
The Portland Streetcar is owned and operated by the City of Portland. The closest streetcar stop is approximately 3 blocks south from the Portland Marriott Downtown Waterfront.
Proof of valid fare is required to ride on Portland Streetcar under Portland City Code 14A.110.
Tickets are sold on-board the Streetcar, cash only, and on the Streetcar platforms (credit or debit only) from ticket vending machines.
All TriMet tickets and passes are honored on the Streetcar. TriMet Fares will be available for purchase from ticket machines and will be valid on Streetcar and TriMet for 2 hours.
Streetcar Fare of $1 is valid for 2 hours on Streetcar Only. An All Day Fare is $5.
