Post Doctoral Fellowship In Primary Care Behavioral Health

Posted By Neftali Serrano, Monday, November 19, 2012

Applicants interested in primary care behavioral health are encouraged to apply to one of the most robust and mature integrated care training programs in the country. Access Community Health Centers has hosted postdoctoral fellows for 6 years, providing training in the Behavioral Health Consultant model (see our video above).  A key feature of the training is preparation for leadership. Our goal is to produce psychologists capable of starting integrated care programs. As such we model and promote leadership skill development as well as exposure to all aspects of our program including consulting psychiatry, care management and ongoing program development projects.

There are two postdoctoral positions, one which is in conjunction with the University of Wisconsin and one which is solely through ACHC. The former involves rotations through the UW Hospital and should be applied to through APPIC: (
The latter involves a sole focus on primary care and should be applied to by filling the application at:
Applications will be accepted through January 2013.
