This conference will provide mental health professionals with the skills needed to diagnose and successfully treat clients with medically unexplained physical symptoms or chronic functional syndromes such as irritable bowel and fibromyalgia.  This is one of the most rewarding and gratefully received services that an integrated behavioral health practitioner can provide for their medical colleagues.  The curriculum was developed by Medical and Mental Health clinicians with, collectively, over a century of experience using psychotherapeutic techniques to treat stress-related physical illness.
